About Department

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication is one of the oldest departments of the institute. The department is actively involved to provide quality education at the diploma level. The department has qualified and experienced teaching faculty and staff. The department has well equipped laboratories for various subjects like Network Theory, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Basic Electrical Engineering, Analog and Digital Communication engineering, Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Integrated Circuits and Project where students are given rigorous practical sessions. With the inclusion of OCBC scheme, lab sessions for new subjects like Arduino, Embedded Systems and Internet of Things are also being carried out actively in the laboratories. There are computers with internet connectivity for the students of the department. All the lecture rooms and laboratories are equipped with modern AV multimedia facilities and internet connectivity. The Department also organises seminars, presentations, group activities and trainings regularly for the professional development of the students.
